Fisherman may be very good at their jobs ,but when it comes to re-upholstery they haven't got much of a sense of it!!! I think I might throw this in a skip.

Have a look at a breakers yard for a leather volvo or similar seat with heating included the swivel base can be adapted to suit as can the existing seat ajustments.
